North Lake Tahoe Beach
Families, couples, and individuals alike love North Lake Tahoe Beach. It is a quaint 2.7 acres with 540 feet of shoreline, making it a little less crowded than some of the larger beaches. Kick off your shoes and enjoy a game of sand volleyball in one of the three beachside courts, or toss some horseshoes in the horseshoe pit. The picnic area is wheelchair accessible with paved walkways, plus barbeque grills, benches, and picnic tables.
Parties of up to 90 people will love the group shelter with its large barbeque, running water and picnic tables. Call ahead and rent for it for a beachside wedding, party, or reunion. When not reserved, it is available on a first-come-first-serve basis. It has a seasonal visitor information booth, restrooms, and free parking. North Lake Tahoe Beach is located at the intersection of Highway 28 and Highway 267.
