America’s Most Beautiful Bike Ride 2015 at Lake Tahoe

It’s that time of year to load up your bike and head to the 24th annual America’s Most Beautiful Bike Ride event; happening on Sunday, June 7th at the ever-inspirational Lake Tahoe! Rain or shine, thousands of cyclists will be out there and up for the grueling ride. Participants can choose from either the 100-mile century or the 72-mile ride – both offer the scenic, breathtaking views that people from all over the United States come to see.

Nearly 3,000 cyclists from throughout the United States come to Tahoe to ride around the Lake. For many, nearly 2,000 riders, they are here as a personal challenge and commitment to their friends and loved ones who have been inflicted with the Leukemia/Lymphoma disease. Each passionate rider has raised at least $4,000 to be here and some have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to help fund the research to discover a cure for these deadly diseases. This event is the largest fundraiser for Lymphoma/Leukemia Societiy in the nation – one year they raised nearly $8,ooo,ooo dollars.

Boat Cruise/35-Mile Fun Ride, 72-mile ride around the Lake, and full 100-mile century are offered. This ride promotes Lake Tahoe Bikeway, the plan to build and interconnect bike lanes/trails around Lake Tahoe, and is the culmination of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s National Team.

America’s Most Beautiful Bike Ride will Start and Finish in “Parking Lot C” of the the New Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Lake Tahoe (formerly Horizon Casino) on Highway 50, Stateline, South Shore Lake Tahoe, Nevada. Bike the West is extremely pleased to be hosted by the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Lake Tahoe as they have invested $60 Million in a complete renovation of the property and will be offering an outstanding updated venue with a variety of restaurants, lounges, gaming and newly renovated accommodations.
