September 8th and 9th — Tahoe Expo 2012 – Adventure Tracks
Experience Lake Tahoe a whole new way when you participate in one or more of the Tahoe Expo Adventure Tracks. Presented by Sustainable Tahoe, the Tahoe Expo gives participants a seldom-seen look at Lake Tahoe’s natural and historical worlds. This is a fun and educational event that teaches about sustainable living practices. It takes place all around Lake Tahoe with 12 Adventure Tracks to choose from. Hike among black bears guided by a local naturalist, discover Lake Tahoe’s secret mafia history, or learn about fly fishing. Pet a baby mustang, enjoy Yoga instruction on a paddle board, or see what Lake Tahoe looks like 200 feet below the surface without getting wet. Each Adventure Track includes up to three activities, lunch, and transportation to and from the activity. Most activities will take place on September 8th. The main event on September 9th is the opportunity to tour a Green Home and Growing Dome. Register online for your chosen event.
