General Creek Campground at Sugar Pine State Park
Bring your tents, trailers, and motorhomes! Sugar Pine Point State Park’s General Creek Campground has 175 campsites, each with a table and stove, plus nearby restrooms, showers, and a sanitary dump station. There are 7 wheelchair friendly campsites as well as a paved path for walking, biking and wheelchair use. Family campsites can fit up to 8 people and 3 cars, while group sites can fit up to 40 people and 10 vehicles. Meeks Bay Campground
Meeks Bay Campground is ideally located on the south end of Meeks Bay with a wonderful Lake Tahoe beach to spend your summer days lounging and swimming. Choose from 40 tent and RV campsites (accommodates RV’s up to 20′ long). The campground has a nice setting with smaller pines for shade and large shrubs to provide some privacy. The campground is not too large so overcrowding and noise is not as much of an issue. The Perfect Beach Day at Zephyr Cove Resort
So I just took my five year daughter to Zephyr Cove beach this past Saturday afternoon. It was late in the day and I new parking would probably be impossible, but at 3pm we squeaked in a spot even though the signs said parking was full. The gal at the entrance gate was very friendly and even suggested where we head to park. We paid our $8 for the entrance fee and got a spot up front! Now I knew this was the hot spot for young adults looking for a day of sun, fun and drinks on the beach, but I was impressed with everything else that this beach delivered.
