Zephyr Cove Resort Campground and RV Park offers award winning RV and tent camping along with amazing Lake Tahoe view campsites. This South Lake Tahoe campground has a nicely paved road which cuts down on the dust dramatically. The campground is surrounded by forest trees and a small aspen grove on the north end which makes for a wonderful camping setting. Highway 50 adds a bit of traffic noise throughout the day which can be the one drawback to this campground . Tucked towards the back of the campground are quiet campsites nicely placed between boulder outcroppings.The RV parking spots are not too tightly packed in and if you can get a spot near the aspen grove your sitting pretty!
Overall this is a very pleasant campground with a central location to local South Lake Tahoe amenities. The campground is in walking distance to Zephyr Cove Resort Beach and Marina and Zephr Cove Stables for some horseback riding in the woods. The South Lake Tahoe casinos are a couple miles drive south of the campground where you’ll find gaming action, fine dining options, shopping, cinemas and more. This prime spot for camping has everything you need to explore the outdoors and close to amenities that make this lovely wooded campground a great family camping spot.
