Another great getaway for cross country skiing and snowshoeing venture is beautiful Hope Valley. Hope Valley Outdoors offers 25 miles of machine groomed trails for cross-country skiing, backcountry skiing, snowshoeing. They offer rentals, lessons, and even guided tours. Further down on on Hwy 88 is the Cross Country Center at Kirkwood offering cross country ski and snowshoe rentals along with 50 miles of machine groomed trails with skating and snowshoe lanes. So get out there and make some tracks, breath the mountain air and take in the dramatic views that surround you.
